• Talk to your parents if any of your friends act rough, mean or abusive around a dog
• If bitten immediately report the bite to an adult

• Never leave infants or young children alone with a dog
• Talk with Friends and family about their pets and make sure they are willing to respect your concerns before you bring or leave your child in their home.
• Be cautious around unfamiliar animals
• Remember most owners have the biased attitude that their dog would never bite anyone.
• Don’t play rough or aggressive games with your dog. This encourages aggression with your children and others.
• Be cautious when others visit. Consider placing your dog in another room or outside away from guests.
