A Clay County man continues to struggle with intense pain and suffering after 93% of his body was burned in a fiery crash. The fiery car crash was caused by a repeat offender driving with a suspended license. While Gavin Conroy the 23-year-old burn victim continues treatment at UF Health’s burn unit in Gainesville the careless driver Clifford Ringer, that caused the crash continued to drive while out on bail with a suspended license.

Ringer was at fault in the crash that left Gavin Conroy fighting for his life. Ringer was charged with driving with a suspended license in a crash with seriously bodily injuries. He was also cited for careless driving. The crash occurred on April 14th in Orange Park at Wells Road and Debarry Avenue. Gavin Conroy was on his way to work when the crash occurred, months later he is still in the hospital with serious injuries.

Ringer out was out on bond after the fiery crash that left Gavin Conroy fighting for his life. Several months after that crash Riger was stopped for running a red light even though his license was suspended, he seems to have no thought for his victim or the laws that he continues to break. Ringer was handcuffed and led to jail at his court hearing.
