Jacksonville Florida Fatal crash involving a motorized scooter and a dump truck occurred Tuesday afternoon around 3:00 pm. Distracted Driving may be involved. According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, the scooter and the dump truck were heading west on Atlantic Blvd when the man operating the scooter drifted over into the dump truck’s lane. The man operating the scooter was run over and died at the scene. The dump truck driver was cooperating with the police. The crash is under investigation.
